Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • 1 can (16 oz.) creamed corn
  • 1 egg
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 cup dry seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon butter, melted
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Season pork chops with salt & pepper
  3. In a skillet, over medium-high heat, brown pork chops
  4. Place browned chops into a flat casserole or baking pan
  5. In a separate bowl, mix corn, egg, onion, celery, bread crumbs and butter
  6. Divide the corn dressing mixture into 6 servings and mound on top of each chop
  7. Cover with aluminum foil
  8. Bake at 350F for about 1-1/2 hours
  9. Remove the foil the last 15 minutes of baking to brown

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (dry)
  • 1 can Cream of Celery soup
  • 4 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 Tablespoon onion, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, ground
  • 1 cup luncheon meat (i.e. Spam), diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325F
  2. Cook macaroni according to package directions
  3. Drain and set aside
  4. In saucepan, combine soup, cheese, milk, vegetables and pepper
  5. Over low heat, stir until cheese melts
  6. Add cooked macaroni and meat to cheese sauce, mix well
  7. Pour into casserole dish
  8. Bake at 325F for 15 minutes

  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can water
  • 8 ounces wide noodles (dry)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 340F
  2. Cook noodles per package instructions
  3. Drain noodles
  4. In a separate bowl, combine tuna, soup and water. Mix well
  5. Add tuna mixture to drained noodles and pour into a 2 quart casserole dish
  6. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz.) green beans (drained)
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups rice (not Minute Rice)
  • 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 package Chow Mein Noodles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, crumble in ground beef
  3. Stir and cook until no longer pink
  4. Drain well
  5. In a large casserole dish, combine ground beef, green beans, soups, onion, rice, Soy Sauce and water.
  6. Stir to mix well
  7. Cover with casserole lid or aluminum foil
  8. Bake at 350F for 1 hour
  9. Take casserole out of oven and remove lid or foil
  10. Top with Chow Mein noodles and return to oven
  11. Bake another 15 minutes uncovered

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package (3 oz.) Oriental flavored Ramen noodles
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (10 ounces) whole kernel corn

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Crumble in the ground beef
  3. Stir and cook the beef until no longer pink
  4. Drain off grease
  5. Stir in the flavor packet from the Ramen noodles, tomatoes and corn (with juices)
  6. Break up the noodles slightly and add to skillet
  7. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 10 minutes or until noodles are tender
  8. Stir occasionally to break up any clumps of noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz.) dry ziti pasta
  • 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
  • 1 jar (16 oz.) Spaghetti sauce
  • 1 jar (16 oz.) Alfredo sauce
  • 8 ounces shredded Italian cheese blend

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a boil
  3. Stir in the ziti and return to a boil
  4. Cook the ziti uncovered, stirring occasionally, until cooked through but still slightly firm (about 1 minutes)
  5. Drain well
  6. While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and stir in the sausage
  7. Cook and stir until the sausage is crumbly, evenly browned and no longer pink
  8. Drain and discard any excess grease
  9. Stir in the ziti, spaghetti sauce and Alfredo sauce.
  10. Transfer mixture into a large baking dish
  11. Top with the cheese
  12. Bake in preheated oven until the sauce is bubbly and the cheese is melted, about 15 minutes

  • 2 cups elbow or shell macaroni
  • 1 can tuna (5.5 oz.) drained
  • 2 sticks celery, chopped
  • 3 eggs - hard boiled, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped (optional)
  • Dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing (i.e. Miracle Whip)
  • 1 Tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni per package directions
  2. Drain, Rinse with cold water
  3. Combine cooked macaroni, tuna, celery, eggs and green pepper
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together all dressing indredients
  5. Add dressing to macaroni mixture, mix well
  6. Chill several hours

Notes

Serve on lettuce leaves. Add fresh fruit for dessert.

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 can pineapple slices (about 12), drained, juice reserved
  • 12 maraschino cherries (optional)
  • 1 package white (or yellow) cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup reserved pineapple juice
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a 13- by 9-inch cake pan (or bundt pan).
  2. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over top of melted butter.
  3. Arrange drained pineapple slices over sugar. Place a cherry in the center of each ring, if desired.
  4. In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, pineapple juice, water and oil. Beat for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour batter evenly over pineapple in pan.
  6. Bake at 350F for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let stand 5 minutes, then turn upside down onto a large platter or cookie sheet.

Notes

Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter (not margarine)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 cups corn flakes (slightly crushed)
  • 2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugars.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.
  4. Add corn flakes, oatmeal, coconut and nuts to batter and mix until blended. May have to use your hands!
  5. Drop or roll into balls (about 1 tablespoon), place on ungreased cookie sheet, and flatten slightly.
  6. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes.
