Ingredients

  • 1 can (15-1/4 ounces) Whole Kernel Corn, drained
  • 1 can (15 ounces) Pinto Beans, rinsed and drained (or use kidney beans)
  • 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) Chicken Broth
  • 1 can (10 ounces) Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies, undrained
  • 1 can (10 ounces) Chunk White Chicken, drained
  • 1 can (4 ounces) Chopped Green Chilies
  • 1 pound Process American Cheese, cubed
  • Crushed Tortilla Chips, optional

Instructions

  1. Combine the first 7 ingredients in a large saucepan.
  2. Cook and stir over medium heat until the cheese is melted.
  3. Ladle into bowls and garnish with crushed tortilla chips if desired.

Notes

Serve with a green salad and dessert.

  • 3 cups Water
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 (14 ounce) package Macaroni & Cheese mix
  • 1-1/2 cups Frozen Seasoning Blend*
  • 1/2 pound Velvetta cheese product, diced
  • *You can substitute a mix of chopped onions, bell peppers, celery and parsley for the Seasoning Blend.

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, bring water and milk to a boil.
  2. Stir in macaroni (reserve cheese sauce mix) and vegetables.
  3. Return to a boil, then simmer 10-12 minutes or until macaroni is soft.
  4. Add Velveeta and cheese sauce mix; stir until well blended.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound dried lentils
  • 2 smoked ham hocks
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 large carrot, pared and sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon leaf Thyme
  • 4 cups Water

Instructions

  1. Soak lentils to soften according to package directions.
  2. When lentils have softened, drain well.
  3. Add all ingredients to Slow Cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on Low setting 8 to 14 hours (or on High setting for 4 to 6 hours).

Notes

Serve with crusty bread, a green salad and dessert.

  • 1 pound Polish Sausage, sliced
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Leaf Oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon Leaf Basil
  • 1 envelope (1-1/2 ounces) Dry Onion Soup Mix
  • 6 cups boiling Water
  • 1 can (16 ounces approx.) Whole Tomatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup sliced Celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped Celery Leaves
  • 1 cup sliced pared Carrots
  • 1 cup uncooked Elbow Macaroni (or other similar pasta)
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, over medium heat, brown sausage and ground beef; drain well.
  2. Place meat into Slow-Cooker.
  3. Add salt, oregano, basil and onion soup mix.
  4. Stir in boiling water, tomatoes and soy sauce.
  5. Add celery, celery leaves and carrots; stir well.
  6. Cover and cook on Low setting for 8 to 16 hours (or on High setting for 4 to 5 hours).
  7. One hour before serving, turn to High setting andf stir in macaroni.
  8. Serve with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

  • 1-1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 3 medium onions, sliced
  • 1 can (10-1/2 ounces) condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. In skillet, over medium heat, brown ground beef; drain well.
  2. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper; set aside.
  3. Place half of the potatoes and half of the onions in a greased slow-cooker.
  4. Add browned beef.
  5. Top with remaining potatoes and onions.
  6. In a medium bowl, combine mushroom soup and water.
  7. Spread evenly over top of ingredients in slow-cooker.
  8. Cover and cook on Low setting for 8 to 10 hours (or on High setting for 3 to 4 hours).

Notes

Serve with a green salad or vegetable; dessert if desired.
