Ingredients

  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Soy Sauce or Worchestershire Sauce
  • Dash Pepper
  • 2 cans (approx. 16 ounces each) Green Beans
  • 1 can (2.8 ounces or 1-1/3 cups) French Fried Onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In a 1-1/2 quart casserole, mix soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper, beans and 1/2 of the onions.
  3. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes, or until hot throughout.
  4. Stir. Sprinkle remaining onions over casserole. Bake 5 minutes more or until onions are golden brown.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 ounces) Cut Green Beans
  • 1 can (16 ounces) Cut Yellow (Wax) Beans
  • 1 can (16 ounces) Red Kidney Beans
  • Optional additions: onion slices, chopped green pepper
  • Dressing
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Pepper
  • 2/3 cup Vinegar (apple cider is best)
  • 1/3 cup Oil (mild olive, canola, vegetable)
  • 3/4 cup Sugar

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse beans. Pour into glass or plastic serving bowl.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine dressing ingredients. Simmer 3 minutes.
  3. Pour over beans.
  4. Cover, chill for 24 hours.

Notes

Makes a great potluck item.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (16 ounces each) cut green beans, drained
  • 2 strips bacon, diced (uncooked)
  • 1 can (8 ounces) mushroom pieces, drained
  • 1 Tablespoon onion, grated
  • 1 can Tomato Soup, undiluted
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons prepared Mustard (yellow or brown)

Instructions

  1. In a small skillet over medium heat, cook diced bacon until crisp. Drain.
  2. In a 3-quart casserole dish, combine bacon, mushrooms, onion, soup, brown sugar and mustard. Mix well.
  3. Gently stir in green beans.
  4. Bake uncovered at 350F for 20 minutes (or microwave on 50% power for 8 minutes).

Perfect side dish for a summer get-together.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz.) green beans (drained)
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups rice (not Minute Rice)
  • 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 package Chow Mein Noodles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, crumble in ground beef
  3. Stir and cook until no longer pink
  4. Drain well
  5. In a large casserole dish, combine ground beef, green beans, soups, onion, rice, Soy Sauce and water.
  6. Stir to mix well
  7. Cover with casserole lid or aluminum foil
  8. Bake at 350F for 1 hour
  9. Take casserole out of oven and remove lid or foil
  10. Top with Chow Mein noodles and return to oven
  11. Bake another 15 minutes uncovered

Notes

Serve with a green salad and fruit for dessert.
